The Los Angeles Angels have a gem in their team. Mike Trout, who was rumored to be open to trade for 2024 expressed his frustration. Having faced injuries, he passively watched yet another season wind up prematurely in front of his eyes. Clearly, for the 3 time MVP, “It’s frustrating”.

LA Angles other generational talent was shut down for the season before the Angels’ 5-1 loss to the Rangers on Sunday. He was moved to a 60-day IL due to a fracture on his left hamate. For someone who has to restrain playing due to his injuries and to endure a no-trophies phase, it must be painful. Angles’ slugger, however, has finally spoken up, “I’m doing the same thing I’ve done the last 13 years,” he said. “Going into the offseason, clearing my mind, getting ready for spring and wearing an Angels uniform in spring”, he could not contain his emotions.

2012 AL Rookie of the Year was shut down for the rest of the season on Sunday. Dealing with such setbacks, he fought back tears and said, “It’s frustrating. It’s better now. But I wanted to get back. It’s tough. It’s been hard on me, yeah”. Nevertheless, the Angles welcome good news in the thick of misery.

Trout Was Asked if he Thought the Front Office Could Create a Winner

The Angles, at the major league and minor league levels, seem to be heading toward a down period or full-blown rebuild. With that accommodating, Mike and his massive contract is key notwithstanding a disappointing season. The center fielder stands by his team and resolves to continue contributing in 2024 as usual. In addition to that, he had a lot to say about the young talent.

Referring to the team’s young core, which consists of catcher Logan O’Hoppe, first baseman Nolan Schanuel, and shortstop Zach Neto, he said, “We’ve got a lot of young guys who came in. And if you look at what happened over the year, you don’t see it. I mean, in April, when we were in the Major Leagues, our first baseman was taking college at-bats. But I could go through the whole roster.”
