Whether it was his playing days or retirement days, fans have always liked to follow Alex Rodriguez‘s personal life. And now as back then, he was never known for sticking to a single name for too long. Fans were shocked when the former New York Yankees slugger got married to Cynthia Scurtis in 2002. After the couple broke things off in 2008, A-Rod seemingly never got too serious about anyone until Jennifer Lopez.

The pop singer and the retired baseballer seemed destined for each other, getting ready to tie the knot. But then COVID-19 and personal issues ruined their plans. While J-Lo later married fellow actor Ben Affleck, it didn’t seem like Rodriguez would find love again. But then during the Christmas holidays in 2022, the former slugger was linked to fitness guru Jaclyn Cordeiro, and neither has looked back since.

The duo that works out together stays together. A-Rod and Cordeiro seem to have taken this saying to heart. Given his previous career as an athlete, Rodriguez’s obsession with fitness is understandable. He may have hung up his cleats but he has taken his strict workout regime to the retired life too. And now he’s found the perfect partner to work out with.

Jac Cordeiro is a fitness model and lifestyle specialist, whose first and foremost priority is to keep a body fit, and then to inspire others to do the same. Cordeiro and Rodriguez first announced their romantic relationship back in December last year. And since then, they have supported each other through thick and thin, work and personal life. The couple has also traveled the world together, meeting each other’s families.

And yesterday, Cordeiro posted a picture of the two of them together, out and about in the town. While he wore a black t-shirt, she can be seen wearing a greenish-blue strapped dress and a simple but cute pendant down her neck. With Cordeiro’s hair up in a bun and eyes a little smoky, she shares a smile with Rodriguez as the two look at the camera.

The background shows the side of what is presumably a restaurant, with tall buildings in the background. The location’s geotag is the famous Shinola Hotel in Detroit, and the caption reads, “Date night 💛💙.” Rodriguez later shared the post to his story with the same caption.

Wedding Bells in the Distance?

Fans are certainly rooting for the couple. Neither has made any official announcements yet, as they presumably get to know each other better. And after the last heartbreak A-Rod went through, he’s clearly being careful now. The retired baseballer was active on social media after he and J-Lo announced they were going their separate ways. And he let his followers know exactly how he was feeling about the breakup.

Fans are less familiar with Cordeiro but so far, she seems like a good egg. Her two daughters seem to get along well with the Rodriguez family, so it only seems like a matter of time before the next big step is taken. Well, only time will tell!
