But one thing that never changed throughout his career, and after he retired from the big leagues, was to keep his personal life as private as possible. And that did not change when the former Yankee was going to end his alleged playboy days by getting married to the supermodel Hannah Davis. 

Fortunately for him, Davis is also built of the same structure as the ex-athlete. She is and was always intent on keeping her personal life as sheltered as possible. The Sports Illustrated model and baseball icon had started dating during the offseason of 2012. Three years into the relationship, Hall of Famer Derek Jeter popped the question in October 2015. Jeter had given the supermodel a stunning diamond sparkler, which she wore to her interview with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood Live. There, the hosts asked if the couple had set a date or not.

Davis being who she is, jokingly replied, “I can’t give anyone info, because I don’t want anyone to show up. We’re so private.”

In the same interview, the swimsuit model cover also said that the Hall of Famer’s proposal had come as a total surprise to her. And notably, she loved the platinum french-set band worth somewhere around a massive $300,000.

Jeter and Davis: A perfect match?

The supermodel Hannah Davis grew up in an isolated community before coming to the Big Apple for her modeling career, which can also be a significant contributing factor to her wanting to keep her life private.
