NFL playoff games are in full swing and it’s shaping up to be a great postseason. The recent games have been interesting to watch, and it looks like Alex Rodriguez isn’t missing the chance to enjoy a good game. Last night’s playoff between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings saw the former pro baseballer in attendance.
Since Rodriguez partly owns Minnesota’s NBA team, the Timberwolves, he splits time between his different homes. He was present at Saturday’s match with the Cavaliers and was joined by Marc Lore and Jac Cordeiro. On Sunday, the 47-year-old was present with an NFL icon as well as an up-and-coming champ from the Timberwolves.

A-Rod posted his own picture on social media with the NBA champ as well as Marquise Watts, who works in the front office of the Timberwolves. Jac Cordeiro, the Canadian girlfriend of the former shortstop, also joined them. Cordeiro is a fitness expert and also works as a lifestyle transformation specialist.
Twitter users are not happy with A-Rod supporting Minnesota
Rodriguez is most prominently known for his career with the New York Yankees from 2004 to 2016 when he played as a shortstop and third baseman. The retired athlete is originally from Manhattan and has supported his state at various points in time before. However, ever since Rodriguez bought part ownership of Minnesota’s Timberwolves, he has been giving his support to his team’s state.
When A-Rod reposted the photo from FOX Sports, fans were furious over not supporting a NY-based team, the New York Giants.
