The New York Yankees are going through a rough phase in Major League Baseball. After dominating the entire first half of the season, the Pinstripes have been just the opposite in the second half. Game after game, the Yankees are going even worse. And to address this, ace broadcaster Stephen A. Smith came with a fiery rant on Wednesday. He said many things to the Yankees. Notably, the same team was doing wonders a month ago. And now they are struggling for a win.

While roasting the Pinstripes for their poor performances, Stephen made a huge blunder in his rant. The ESPN commentator mistakenly believed that the former Yankees’ owner and co-chairman Hank Steinbrenner was still alive. But unfortunately, Hank Steinbrenner passed two years ago at 63. And now, the Yankees fans are roasting Stephen for his on-air mistake.
Yankees fans reminded Stephen A. Smith that Hank Steinbrenner is not alive
In his two minutes fiery rant on the Pinstripes, Stephen A. Smith attacked the Yankees from every side. Be it their offense, defense, or manager Aaron Boone, the renowned ESPN commentator roasted the Pinstripes from every angle.
But fans bashed Stephen for believing that Hank is still alive. His words were, “Even Hank and Hal ain’t tolerating that. Forget about George, God rest his soul. I miss that man,” Smith said. “Not even Hank and Hal are tolerating that.”
This clearly indicates that Stephen made a huge mistake while taking on the Yankees.
Oh no. RIP Hank.

Taking to Twitter, the Pinstripes fans targeted and reminded Stephen of his on-air blunder. One fan said that does Stephen even knows Hank is dead? While another fan questioned whether Stephen is a Yankees fan. Because how can a Yankee fan forget Hank died two years ago?

When talking about The Bronx Bombers, the Aaron Boone-led team is on a losing spree. They have lost five consecutive series. What is more worrying is that their star performer Aaron Judge is also struggling from the plate.
