Everybody is in awe of one MLB player who seems to be slashing all records—Shohei Ohtani. He broke into the 40-40 exclusive club quicker than anyone listed. Not to forget that Ohtani inaugurated the doors to 50-50, which most thought was impossible to open. Magic Johnson on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show even claimed that Ohtani’s having a season more rad than Michael Jordan. And that Ohtani can be compared to Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift given his popularity is going off the charts.
Well, Shohei Ohtani deserves the love, and his quest to do more every day is still on! And right now, he also has his sights set on a potential Triple Crown win. Talking about Ohtani, after Friday’s game manager Dave Roberts had said, “Even looking up there tonight, he’s closing in on 200 hits. Anything attainable, I think, is on his radar.” And well, by this point, everyone knows that Ohtani is doing even what’s unthinkable wearing the blues. And in classic Ohtani fashion, just a day later, inched ever so closer to the Triple Crown! It’s just another chapter in his already legendary season.
Can Shohei Ohtani do the unthinkable?

Shohei Ohtani is on the path to making it to history again, and Saturday night just brought him closer to achieving baseball greatness. In the game with the Colorado Rockies, the Dodgers clinched a 13-2 win, and Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-5. His batting average has now mounted to .310, and the gap between him and NL batting leader Luis Arraez of the San Diego Padres has narrowed. Right now, Ohtani is just four points behind Arraez’s.314 average. Now Ohtani already leads the league with his 54 homers and 130 RBIs, so if he can pass Arraez’s numbers, he will go on to become the National League’s Triple Crown winner!
If the Dodgers star manages to complete the feat, he will be the first Triple Crown winner since 1937! Well, little did Dave Roberts know that when he said, “I think, is on his radar” – the goal would be this close. Because Ohtani is just one game away from being a member of this exclusive club. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts knows it’s a long shot and said, “It’s very unlikely, but I would expect Arraez to play tomorrow.”
But even if Ohtani doesn’t get a shot at the Triple Crown, he is still rewriting history books. He slashed his 58th stolen base of the season and is always going to be the first player to achieve 50-50. However, a Triple Crown winner definitely will be the icing on the cake, and well speaking about food, Ohtani just opened the door to a delicious marketing opportunity with Heinz.

Heinz offers fans a chance to celebrate Ohtani’s historic season!
Shohei Ohtani’s the name everyone has been talking about—his name has gone global now. And this means it has also opened doors for one-of-a-kind marketing opportunities. And Heinz Ketchup, a favorite condiment of many, has decided to jump on the Ohtani fan club wagon. So here is the deal—if Shohei Ohtani manages to get 57 home runs and 57 stolen bases this season, they have an exciting offer for his fans, something that nobody would want to miss!
If the Los Angeles Dodgers star can manage the feat, then Heinz will give away 57 limited edited ketchup bottles to 57 lucky fans. And not just that, but even a lifetime supply of ketchup for the lucky winners—talk about a lucky draw as big as this! But with Ohtani, everything is grand—his wins, the merchandise that had people waiting for hours, or the merchandise hitting the market and going triple the rate! So it’s no surprise that Heinz has decided to commemorate Ohtani and his season. Heinz should be ready because Ohtani already crossed the 57 stolen bases and well just needs 4 more home runs to make it.

As to how one needs to participate—all you need to do is snap a photo with a bottle of Heinz ketchup and post it on social media with a #ShoHeinz57. And once you join in the fun, and if Ohtani achieves the 57-57 mark, you will have a shot to maybe celebrate another win, courtesy of Heinz. Now this promotion is just one in a long line of high-profile endorsements the Dodgers icon is affiliated with. He has deals with New Balance, Seiko, Fanatics, and more. Ohtani has raked in over $60 million in endorsements this year itself, outpacing the next highest-earning MLB player, Bryce Harper.
