As the 2025 season approaches, the air around the Los Angeles Dodgers buzzes with excitement and anticipation. And why wouldn’t it? Although it’s the Dodgers, it’s not every year a team looks ‘destined’ to win!

For the Boys in Blue, this season feels different. There is a different aura, an undeniable energy, and a special feeling that something big is going to happen. As the final days before the next season approach, it seems the Dodgers are adamant on one thing: greatness! This season it’s not just about making it to the postseason or winning major titles, it’s about doing something special – making history.

Miguel Rojas, the Dodgers Clubhouse leader, echoed similar sentiments. He wasn’t sugar-coating when he was talking about this year’s Dodgers’ roster. “I mean, you throw those guys out there, you win 120 games,” he said recently on ‘The Chris Rose Rotation’ podcast. When asked whether the 120-win mark is a goal or a target, he did not hesitate even a bit replying,” I don’t think it’s a goal – it’s an expectation. It’s the expectation that we have,” he boldly declared. “Like, it’s winning every single day. That’s why I put a number on it,” he added. His words reflected that the Dodgers aren’t settling for mere wins this time, they are poised to make history this year.

For Rojas, this should be a collective belief across the locker room. It’s not just the stars like Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman who should be expected to perform, but the team altogether. “If everybody is showing that they’re committed to do their part, it’s possible. It’s possible that we can win 115 games, 120 games,” Rojas added, emphasizing the collective effort required to achieve something so historical. The team shouldn’t be relied on the big names, they have both the depth and talent to deliver at every position.

Now as the 2025 season approaches, the Dodgers will be dedicated to turning Rojas’ bold claims into reality. With a mix of experienced stars and young talents, the Dodgers are ready to face those challenges head-on. Now the question isn’t about ‘if’ they will break the records, but by ‘how much’?
