San Francisco Giants legend Barry Bonds and former Yankee Alex Rodriguez are two of the best baseball players in MLB’s history. But such titles do not come without the scandals the two were a part of. Despite the scandals, it is undeniable that they are two of the best hitter in the sport. Therefore, their tips to hit the perfect home run will always be considered highly valuable.
Something similar happened when the disputed home run king, Barry Bonds, decided to give tips on how to hit a ball straight out of the ballpark. Goes without saying that A-Rod considers Bonds, the greatest baseball player of all time. At times, the Yankees legend has talked about Bonds and his accolades and has always admired him for the same.

Barry Bonds taught Alex Rodriguez a secret to slug moonshots!
Over the past few years, both Alex and Bonds have admired each other’s skills on several occasions. They’ve been in touch for a long while now. Therefore, for them to connect via video conference might be a normal thing. During one such video call, Bonds showed Alex what it takes to hit a ball out of the ballpark.
Bonds taught the former Yankee the exact body angles it takes to get a perfect hit. Then, the former Giants went on to say, “I expect perfection in the batting cage. I expect you to be perfect. Just be a good hitter.”

In addition to these few, Bonds shared some other tips with Alex on the connect, which Alex then shared with the world on his YouTube channel, naming it “Launch Angles.”
2022: Bonds’ final year on the ballot

To get inducted into Cooperstown, the Class of 2022 was probably the last chance for Bonds, who hit record 762 homers in his MLB career. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get the required 75% votes in his favor because of his alleged consumption of PEDs during playing days.

Bonds was one of the eight players who was considered getting elected into Cooperstown. But yet again, he lost his last chance to be inducted into the baseball hall of fame.

Alex’s case is similar to that of the Bonds to be considered for the Hall of Fame. But Alex says steroid usage should not stop a player from getting inducted because there’s only a little the steroids can do. But the rest is then on the player only.
