Once, a famous MLB radio host shared an interesting story regarding his impact as a minor league manager. While giving in the details, he also criticized others for not giving Rodriguez his due credit.

But with Rodriguez, this story is not limited to a role of an idol. He has contributed to the future as a minor league manager. Mike Francesa talked about it in an episode of The Corp With A-Rod and Big Cat that aired three years back.

While bringing in Rodriguez’s minor league contribution, he shared, “If he was managing a minor league team, no, he’s not giving back all his money. I understand that. Or his real estate or his guests or anything else. But if he had his job and was a minor league manager, he’d be happy. If he could teach baseball every day, he’d be happy. I could tell you this.”

Francesa compared Rodriguez’s contribution and added, “A-Rod shows up early when he goes for a minor league assignment and works with the kids there and buys people’s suits when they show up and takes those guys out to dinner. If you think every superstar does that, you’re out of your mind. He’s always done that stuff and never gotten credit for it.”

Though it was not the last time, Rodriguez guided young players. A similar story also followed when he recently met the young baseball stars.
