In 2016, Dexter Fowler earned his one and only All-Star appearance while helping the Cubs win the World Series. Fowler recently announced his retirement via Twitter recently after not suiting up for the 2022 MLB season. He thanked fans for their support over his 14-year career and told them to wait for his next step.

In the tweet, he said, ?Thank you to the fans. Stay tuned for what?s next.? In the post, he elaborated on his favorite moments from his career. At the end of his statement, he focused on the best part of the journey saying, ?I’m mostly proud to look back at my career knowing that I played the game the right way and did my best to make a positive impact beyond the win.?
