According to a report by Page Six, Steve Cohen was unable to sell an apartment because people thought it was cursed. Cohen bought the apartment for $24 million and had it renovated with the thought of selling it for profit. The billionaire Mets owner listed the apartment at $115 million and over time brought the price down multiple times. When nobody wanted to buy it at $79 million he removed it from the market.
A real estate source told Page Six “There’s so many other better apartments available at that price. Plus, Stevie Cohen’s apartment isn’t exactly a draw in the banking world. Some people think its cursed.”
