Alex Rodriguez is widely known as one of the best baseball players in the world. Despite his questionable decisions regarding drug use, his talent is still celebrated. However, the Biogenesis baseball scandal hurt his chances of getting inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

He is also counted as one among only nine players to ever hit 600 career home runs in MLB history. While neither of the two players has become a Hall of Famer yet, MLB icon Vladimir Guerrero gave his thoughts on the situation in a recent interview.

Guerrero is a nine-time winner of the All-Star title and was known for his powerful batting skills. In a recent interview with journalist José Peguero, he revealed that he thinks both players should be Hall of Famers.

I think Sammy Sosa and Alex Rodriguez should be in the Hall of Fame. They put up the numbers. There are many players who are in the Hall of Fame and they didn’t have enough numbers,” he said.

While Rodriguez still has a few years left to make his case, Sosa’s last year for consideration was 2022.
