He loves it, so he does it!

After going through his second stroke, ideally, it was not a good thing for Coach V to continue. However, when asked how his doctor felt about him still coaching, he simply said“He didn’t say it was a bad one, so….”

From the looks of it, teaching kids how to play ball and trying to be a good influence on all those kids coming to learn from him is all the oxygen that he needs. After doing this job for almost five decades, one might wonder how long he will continue to coach. However, the answer to this question is, “Forever”.

When another coach from the area got asked about Coach V, he said, “He loves it. I think he can’t stop. It’s just in his blood, helping kids.” Even his colleagues know that whatever may come his way, Coach V isn’t going to stop.
