Derek Jeter’s Wife Hannah Jeter Once Revealed How Her Massive 2015 Career Milestone Changed Her Life

Hannah Jeter is most well-known for being the wife of former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. The two have been together since 2012 and got married in 2016. Although most remember the legendary shortstop’s career, Hannah was successful in her own right as well. She rose to prominence as a model before working as a TV host. 

Modeling is an extremely hard profession to make a mark in, and Hannah was able to do just that. In 2016, she recalled her biggest achievement, which had occurred in 2015, and revealed how it changed her life.

From 2013 to 2017, Hannah Jeter appeared in all 5 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and was the 2015 cover model. She and Derek Jeter were dating at the time and made the headlines together regularly. But in a 2016 interview, she revealed how making the cover of the magazine changed her life. Hannah started getting invited to events and said that she was also taken more seriously in terms of her career.

During the interview, she said, “Oh my God, it just changed it in so many ways. From the littlest things, from being invited to events and being taken seriously in the fashion world to hosting a TV show. It just kind of, it’s a wild-wild ride, but it’s been a blast, so, and to be asked back again.” Hannah further said, “I said this in one of the videos on SI.com, and I was like Oh my God, I can’t believe I said that. But it’s so true. Because, every year you wait for a callback, I mean it’s not a guarantee, that once you’re in the issue it doesn’t mean you get to come back. So for me, I was like yes! This means I get to be in it another year.”

At the time, it was the biggest milestone in her career, being named the cover model for a massive magazine. Her career is a true success, starting as a model at 14 years old and slowly building a $3 million net worth.

Ever since he retired from baseball, Derek Jeter has been focused on his family. The former New York Yankees shortstop and his wife Hannah Jeter are raising their three daughters together. He has not taken up any jobs with intense schedules or commitments so he can be there for his kids.
