Similarly, in a recent television commercial with Jeep Grand Wagoneer Obsidian Edition, Derek Jeter and his wife, Hannah Davis, talked about their three kids and the idea of using the three-row Grand Wagoneer for family excursions.
Why does ‘Captain Clutch’ dislike two-seater cars?
Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis married in 2016. Today, Jeter and Davis are parents of three daughters, Story, River, and Bella. While the commercial featured kids, they weren’t their own kids. In the commercial, Jeter speaks about using a five-seater car when he travels with his wife and three daughters and his preference to pick a bigger car over a sports car.
While talking about the functional use of the partnership, Jeter said, “We wouldn’t be doing this partnership if we weren’t actually using the car.”
Finally, he talked about his changed family after their three daughters, and how there was no possible use of a two-seater car. He said, “Because I couldn’t sit here claiming I love some two-seater sports car. It wouldn’t be right. My life now is that we have a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 10-month-old, and they’re in the back with their baby gear, toys, and strollers. This type of vehicle is perfect for us.”
What is Derek Jeter doing now?
Earlier this year, after four years of leading the Miami Marlins in an operational position as their CEO, Derek Jeter sold his minimum 4% stake in the franchise and announced his retirement. Jeter unanimously became the Marlins CEO in 2017 and carried them to their first postseason in 17 years. However, the Jeter-Marlins relationship was short-lived.
