September 9 of this year will hold a special place for Jeter. Notably, the New York Yankees held ‘Derek Jeter Hall of Fame Induction Tribute Night’. Needless to say, it was important to him, and thus his family was present at Yankee Stadium, including all three of his daughters.

However, his daughters were not aware of the importance of the event. Therefore, the Hall of Famer had to bribe his girls to sit through the game.

What did Derek Jeter have to bribe his daughters?

Recently, Jeter sat down for an interview with TODAY. And while discussing several other things, at one point, Jeter detailed how he had to bribe his daughters to keep calm during his HOF Induction night at Yankee Stadium earlier this year.

The bribe was serious enough for his eldest daughter, Bella. She wanted her father to announce to the public that she’d be getting ice cream all the while Jeter was giving a speech.

What is Jeter’s brand Greatness Wins about?

Greatness Wins is a sports apparel brand for athletes, by athletes. After his media company The Players’ Tribune, this is the 2nd brand, Jeter has been heavily invested in. And if things do not go south, this brand can be a big win for the Yankees legend in the future.
