Speaking at a gathering with fans Jeter spoke about his unspoken connection with teammate Jorge Posada. Said Jeter, “I would say Jorge, he’s my brother.” Quick to acknowledge he was close with all his teammates and even manager Joe Torre whom he called a ‘second father’, Jeter still spoke at length about his friendship with Posada.
