Spending time with the stars of their favorite show is almost every kid’s dream. Usually, this kind of dream does not go away even after one attains adulthood. Something similar happened to the New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter when, during a game, he got to meet a rather famous children’s celebrity star. This led to the athlete reacting in a way fans would not have anticipated at all, considering his steely nature.

Around 18 years ago, a team from the United States of America went to Japan for an exhibition game. The former shortstop Jeter was also on that team representing the country. The game was played as a fundraising event at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. There, Jeter lived the dream of almost every kid. He got to meet a star of the popular show, ‘Sesame Street.’
