Derek Jeter had a fantastic time at the Fanatics Fest, where he drew a massive crowd of fans—no surprise, given his legendary status. MLB fans and most importantly fans of the New York Yankees and Derek Jeter watched him live on stage, talking about a plethora of things. Moreover, the banter that David Ortiz, Derek Jeter’s once nemesis from the Boston Red Sox, was hilarious. Jeter even got gifted a custom championship belt by WWE, a tradition that was first started by Triple H!
However, Jeter’s social battery must have run dry because soon after the event, he rushed back to his family for some quality time. Little did Derek Jeter know that rest was far from his schedule. Jeter instead took to Instagram to call for help, posting a carousel of pictures with the caption, ‘HELP!!!’ It turns out his daughters went wild with their artistic skills, painting all over his face and head. Being the doting father that he is, he has no choice but to surrender to his girls.

Derek Jeter led the New York Yankees to five championships. He never surrendered or gave up, but the dad in him sure did yield to the at-home artistry of his daughters. On Sunday, Jeter uploaded pictures of himself sitting on a lawn chair with red hearts painted on his face, two on his cheeks, and one on his forehead. But that’s not all, the second slide of the post showed a picture where Derek Jeter’s head was scribbled with the word, “dada.” Well, doesn’t that just make you go, awww!!

But we are sure he enjoys every bit of being a ‘girl dad’. Just in May, Derek Jeter told People Magazine that he loves the experience. He mentioned, “It’s school pick-ups, drop-offs, they do my nails, my toenails, makeup, lipstick. It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced though, my girls. They are the absolute best.” The New York Yankees icon has four children with his wife, Hannah. His oldest daughter is Bella Raine, who is six, then there is Story Grey, who is four, and River Rose, who is two.
However, now he longer is just a girl dad because as just last May the couple welcomed baby Kauis Green, their youngest. What a beautiful family and you have to admit, those names are pretty perfect! And it’s clear that Derek Jeter is an all-in dad, and fans loved the post. They flooded his post with heartfelt comments.

Fans gush over Captain Clutch being a “girl dad”
One user said “We met you 10 years ago, and you were the coolest, kindest human. You were so generous with your time and focused all your attention on the teen we brought to meet you as well, of his surprise wish. We’re not at all surprised to see that you’re this kind of dad. ❤️,” Well, as they say, one can never forget how you make them feel, and this is so true. In fact, NFL star Patrick Mahomes opened up about how he met Jeter as a child and he knew he wanted to be a shortstop like him. Mahomes said that Jeter was an inspiration for him!

Someone commented, “That’s beautiful) you are and always will be my favorite Yankee watch most of your games when you were playing you were a superstar.” Fans have always loved Jeter’s looks, his easygoing attitude, and, of course, his sense of humor. Jeter was Rookie of the Year and he helped his team win the World Series a whopping five times and became the team captain in 2003. He was honored by the name “Captain Clutch” by his fans.
A commenter remarked, “Definitely a girl, dad! Gotta love it.” Derek Jeter retired in 2014 and even since then, there is not a shadow of a doubt that he gives his time mostly to his family. Back in 2022 talking to People he said after his retirement, much of his time goes around chasing the girls around and changing diapers! While sure he did dad duties, he did invest plenty of time building a business too, and recently launched his trading card business.
A person stated, “Nope. No help needed. Perfection right there. Three kids, two heading to college this week. Time is a thief. Enjoy every last glob of paint, sir,” gushing over Derek Jeter’s new look. Children sure grow up in a blink of an eye. Between studies, extracurriculars, and everyday chaos, it’s a whirlwind. Hannah Jeter previously mentioned that she wanted the kids to be as normal as possible and she said a beautiful thing, “We don’t want them to be defined by their dad’s name — for them, we want him to just be ‘Dad.’ That will be the piece of him they’ll have that the rest of the world doesn’t. It will be special, and it will be theirs.”

Someone pointed out, “Derek we’re on our way to save you.” But honestly, does he need any saving? Jeter has previously posted about his children painting his nails. He even mentioned that he puts no pressure on his children to be great–he just wants them to have fun. While his oldest daughter wants to be a photographer, he is okay with everything his kids are passionate about.
After Jeter retired in 2014, he has been busy soaking in his family life and it’s clear he loves it. With kids growing up so quickly, he’s making the most of his time with them—from getting his nails painted to agreeing to make his face a canvas for his children.
