It’s a big feat, but there is a widespread opinion that Aaron Judge deserves this too. Though with the latest prediction, Trout has changed the situation set by Derek Jeter with his comments on Judge.

Mike Trout has been with the Angels for over 13 years with 11 All-star inclusions till now. He is also the best in the league, but his liking for Ohtani is very much visible. Moreover, being Ohtani’s teammate, his bond and understanding with him is on another level. His prediction of Ohtani joining his players with their signature shoe reflected the same.

Trout was part of the On Base with Mookie Betts recently. The two MLB players discussed many things. During that conversation, Trout also answered the question, “Who do you think is worthy of another signature shoe? ” While accepting it as a brilliant question, Trout replied, “I think you gotta go showy. I think he’s got a shoe coming out, I think.”

Notably, these comments add another chapter to the Judge vs. Ohtani debate, which the latest events have already fueled to the next level. Interestingly, it all happened after ex-Yankees star Derek Jeter credited Aaron Judge as the greatest player.

Derek Jeter shared his thoughts amidst this debate. As an MLB analyst, Jeter shared, “They don’t get a chance to watch arguably the greatest player in the game right now on a daily basis.”
