‘Dad, This Is How Bullying Starts!’- Yankees Icon Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez Once Shed Light on the Turbulent Relationship With His Teenage Daughters

Being a famous parent does not ensure your kids think that you are cool. One such parent is none other than Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez. Considering that his name is enough to let people know about his career in baseball and his business, his daughters still do not think he is cool.

Teenagers think you are cool if you post what they authorize. It is their way of proving themselves among their crowd.

Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is not cool

In the eyes of other people, Alex Rodriguez might be a legend, but in his daughters’ eyes, he is not a cool father. 

In a recent interview, he talked about how his daughters think he is not cool and how he does not post good things on his socials.

In his words, “Every time I post something, usually like five or at a ten, both of them would DM me and say, ‘Dad are you serious? Dad, you know I’m going into high school next year. Dad, this is how bullying starts.'”

And he erases that post as soon as the DM comes. Also, he has a contract with both of his daughters about the rules and regulations of what to post and what not to.

It’s clear that his definition of cool and his teens’ definition of cool seem quite different. But, he still has to abide by the rules set by his daughters. And like a good father, he does.

How does A-Rod spend time with his family?

Alex shares two daughters, Natasha and Ella, with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Till last year, Alex and his daughters lived in a blended family with ex-fiance, Jennifer Lopez and her twins. 

Recently, A-Rod took one of his daughters to see a baseball match between the Yankees and the Mariners. And his rumored girlfriend, Kathryne Padgett, was also present there.
