Per CNN.com, the crypto company FTX has also given a stake to Ohtani for naming him their brand ambassador. Known for his two-way gameplay, Ohtani will elevate awareness about the crypto brand now. Sam Bankman-Fried — who launched FTX in 2019 — heaped huge praises on the Angels star.
“He’s obviously one of the most electric players in all of sports right now. We are hoping to have a similarly revolutionary impact on what Fintech means and what personal finance apps look like,” Bankman-Fried said on Ohtani.
When talking about endorsements, Ohtani has partnered with over 15 multinational brands, including Hugo Boss, ASICS, Fanatics, Panini, Seiko, Topps, Oakley, Descente, Kowa, Mitsubishi Bank, and a few other brands.
