Seems like congratulations are in order for actress Vanessa Hudgens and Colorado Rockies shortstop Cole Tucker! After a lot of speculations, the couple finally announced their engagement on Feb. 9th. There were reports of a secret engagement that people supposed happened at the end of 2022. Now, it seems like the lovebirds have decided to break the silence and confirm the good news.
There were speculations about Tucker popping the question on their France trip. And as it was, Hudgens’ photo confirming the news shows the Eiffel Tower in the background. As the happy couple takes the next step in their relationship, they received an outpouring of love from friends and family.

The couple posted a collaboration post confirming her answer to the big question. They shared a photo of themselves as well as the huge ring, and it looked like the Rockies player spent some big bucks! They captioned the post, “YES. We couldn’t be happier 🤍” And various popular personalities offered felicitations in the comments.
Emily in Paris actress Lily Collins wrote, “Ahhh congrats mama!!!!!!😍😍😍😍” while Modern Family star Sarah Hyland quoted the Wicked musical, “Couldn’t be happier, Right here Look what we’ve got A fairy-tale plot, Our very own happy ending 🎶”
Hudgens’ Dog Days costar and friend Nina Dobrev also chimed in with simple emojis, “🥰🥰🥰‼️”
Julie and The Phantoms actress Madison Reyes, who shares director Kenny Ortega in common with Hudgens, simply wrote, “OMGGGGGGG”. While her Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson commented, “Love you guys”, fashion designer Jeremy Scott, who is a good friend of Hudgens, wrote, “SKETCHING THE DRESS NOW !!!”
Baseball fans weren’t far behind

In addition to people from the entertainment industry, the Rockies player also had his fair share of fans stumbling to congratulate him. MLB podcast Talkin’ Baseball said, “CoTuck is our best friend!”, while Patrick Murphy of the Minnesota Twins wrote, “Oooooo Issa party💃🏼🤟🏽”.
While, of course, some people also poked some good-hearted fun at the two. One person referred to what was perhaps Hudgens’ most famous role in High School Musical, where her character Gabriella Montez dated Zac Efron’s Troy Bolton. Notably, Hudgens and Efron also dated in real life. And so @gavinwhitson on Instagram wrote, “Troy Bolton punching air rn”.
