After signing a $111 million contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks, outfielder Corbin Carroll is ready to brew a firestorm in the ballpark. The 22-year-old made his MLB debut last season and played against the Philadelphia Phillies and went 1–for-5 with a two-RBI double. So it’s safe to say that Carroll is a budding player in the world of baseball and he has just gotten started.
But what got him to this point? Becoming a major leaguer is no easy feat. It requires perseverance and cornerstones that maintain the weight of the foundation that a person is. For Corbin, the cornerstones were his parents, Brant and Pey-Lin Carroll, who were alongside him every step of the way. And still are. A touching moment was captured by cameras outside Chase Field before Carroll’s first home game of the season against the Los Angeles Dodgers, as his parents dropped him off at the stadium and gave him a tight and warm embrace.

Why is this "hilarious"? It's very touching and is nice piece of humanity and family. Reminds us that pro athletes are very human.
