Although baseball seems simple to the eyes, it is one of the most technical sports, requiring a lot of practice, training, and hard work to master it. But to continue the same takes adjustments to the change. However, it is not a straightforward thing and many fail to do it properly, but not Alex Rodriguez. The former New York Yankees’ third baseman adjusted to the demands to finish his career as an MLB legend in 2016 and continues to inspire many with such skills.

The current ESPN analyst was one of the biggest hitters in MLB history. His record of 696 home runs and over 3000 hits is a testament to that. But it required a lot of changes from the star player to maintain the same hitting prowess in the late forties. Rodriguez recently shared a video focusing on the same that impressed the fans to a large extent. In return, they turned it into heartfelt feelings and made a request that may be difficult for the ex-baseballer to fulfill.

Alex Rodriguez Revisits to Phases of His Legendary MLB Career

Hitting is one of the hardest tasks in baseball. Achieving this requires a grasp of one’s capabilities, especially when one is in their forties. This is why only a few players, including Alex Rodriguez, could do so. To explain it better, A-Rod recently shared a video of himself two decades apart, captioning it, “My swing at 19 vs. 40…”

Rodriguez pointed towards the difference in his swing. “All right, so the biggest difference in my swing, on the left, I’m a 19-year-old. I’m facing Flash Gordon. It throws me three, -two curve balls. And what you’ll notice is I have much more of a weight shift, almost like leaning forward on my front foot.”

The 2009 champion added, “On the second one, I’m not 19, I’m 40. And what you see is a swing that is more on my back foot and is more of a lean back. So on the left, more of a weight shift on my front foot. And then on the second one, when I’m older, I’m more swinging and leaning back. “

It was a great analysis from Rodriguez on his swing approach years apart. Fans who had seen him scoring more than 30 home runs in his forties agreed with it. But given that even after it, Rodriguez fell short of the elusive 700 homers club, they are disappointed and want him to change the scenario.

Fans Share a Request as Rodriguez’s Glorious Past Brings His Missed Record into the Scene

Reaching a 700 home runs record is one of the biggest dreams of every hitter. But it’s not a simple task. Alex Rodriguez knows this after he missed it by a whisker. Although his MLB ban due to PED use was one reason behind it, fans also blame his retirement as the reason behind it. As a result of the latter, they want him to change the scene, making a comeback to reach that milestone.

One said, “I wish you stayed in the league and reached 700 HR! You were so close” Others even requested and said, “Come back and hit 4 !!!!” “You are four away from 700. PLEASE”

One responded and claimed, ” Best swing in the game!” Others said, “You are amazing A-Rod 💪🏻 my favorite all time. Blessings”
