A few months ago, High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens got engaged to the MLB’s Colorado Rockies’ shortstop, Cole Tucker. The couple announced their engagement on February 9. Since then, they have been having the time of their lives. With Tucker being back in action for spring training, the actress recently appeared in the year’s one of most awaited events, aka, the Oscars. The actress sizzled during the d-day, pre-Oscars party, and the after party. The event was a star-studded one celebrating the works of a-list celebrities of the entire world.

However, some influential people were also present, including Amazon’s chairman, Jeff Bezos, and the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai. The human rights activist, Yousafzai, was present at the event for her short film, which was nominated for an award. Her movie, ‘Stranger at the Gate’ might have missed out on winning the best short documentary award, but it did not miss out on the appreciation by High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens.

While posting the clip of the small conversation and urging others to follow in the footsteps of the iconic human activist, Hudgens channeled her inner Malala.

What is Malala Yousafzai’s short film based upon?

As the icon talks only about peace, her short film is something based only on peace. The short film relates to the extraordinary story of former US Marine Richard McKinney. McKinney’s default setting had been Islamophobia after repeated trips to the Middle East. It is indeed a story that keeps its audience on the edge of their seats. Thereby getting a nomination for one of the most prestigious awards in the world.
