Considering the number of athletes on the injured list, the rest of the season does not look so good for the MLB heavyweight New York Yankees. Once the most feared team in the league is now getting shamed for not being able to have the right players on the roster. It’s been over a month since the season started, and multiple players on the team, including their captain Aaron Judge and pitcher Carlos Rodon, have gone on the injured list.
And now, the recent update on Rodon’s injury has the Yankees fans groveling at the management for signing the athlete.

The Bronx Bombers signed Rodon in the 2022 offseason for a contract of six years worth $162 million. And so far, because of his chronic back issue, Rodon has not played one single game yet.
MLB reporter Bryan Hoch reported on his Twitter handle, “Carlos Rodon said he has been told his back issue is “chronic.” He is tentatively scheduled to have the cortisone injection next week. Asked if a July return is realistic, he said: ‘I can’t put a timeline on anything. I’ll get this injection and I want to throw as soon as I can.'”

As soon as these lines went up, the Yankees fanbase started to cruelly bash General Manager Brian Cashman for signing Rodon, with some worrying about the team’s future.
Are the Yankees doomed already?
Having almost the same number of losses as the wins, the Yanks have been underperforming for quite a while now. Needless to say, fans are not happy, and this news after their recent losses has only added to their miseries.
Following are some of the fans’ reactions to Rodon’s injury update:

Can this even happen?
He shouldn’t get paid until he works like everyone else…or at least 60% pay like workers comp.

Cashman has a lot of hate coming in!
Cashman and his top notch medical staff!! Please explain how both Cashman and Boone received extensions? @Yankees …To @RealMichaelKay, in regards to the fire Boone chants, you act as if this was the first time Boone has made bad decisions. You literally said he follows a script

Does Cashman check medicals before dishing out money or assets? My gosh the negligence
