Years have changed, but they couldn’t change Major League Baseball’s long-time tradition of throwing out a ceremonial pitch. Dating back to 1910, ceremonial first pitches have been a staple for over a century. Even so, the excitement leading up to one’s first pitch has only increased with time. Majorly the excitement is to see how the ability of the person throwing the first pitch. While there have been many good enough first pitches, what catches the most attention of baseball fans are the ones that fail. Fortunately for fans, that happened to be the case at the series closer of Cleveland Guardians against the Boston Red Sox.?

Before the Guardians turned the three-game series in their favor, a relatively well-known personality came onto the mound to give a boost to the Guardians. Knowingly or not, the pitch went bad as it could have been, leading to the dethroning of famous rapper 50 Cent from being the worst thrower.?

Trying to save face, needless to say, last night’s game of the Guardians against the Red Sox was as crucial as any other. It’s because as the mid-season nears with every second, the Guardians have lost 33 games while winning only 29. And from the looks of it, the failed ceremonial first pitch might have worked in the team’s favor. As the team not only won but did so with a great margin of 10-3.

This time around, the Guardians called upon Ohio’s native, famous artist, Sir Yacht, to throw the first pitch. However, as the iconic content creator got ready to throw the pitch, he stumbled on his foot and fell before he could even throw the pitch.?

The artist, however, stood up with a huge smile on his face and tried to throw the pitch again. But the case had already been closed. And as soon as the clip of Sir Yacht’s first pitch went up on Instagram, it started amusing fans.

?How are the fans reacting to Guardians’ first pitch?

Many of the fans believe that this failed pitch was one of the worst. They also think that it has definitely dethroned the eccentric rapper 50 Cent. However, there are also many of them who believe that the failed pitch was wholly staged and imperfectly executed.?

Hence, baseball fans on Instagram about the viral failed first pitch are saying,?“50 Cent has been dethroned”, “That?s definitely worse than 50 Cent ???”, and “Travis Kelce is off the hook.”?

While the others who believe it to be a comedic stunt are saying,?“That?s the fakest fall I?ve ever seen”, “It went exactly as planned.”, and “Definitely scripted.”?

Meanwhile, there is one fan sympathizing with the content creator,?“Y?all did not have to violate him by posting it tho????.”?

Maybe the first pitch was planned to be this way, or perhaps it wasn’t. But it did succeed, catching the attention of countless baseball fans.?
