If one looks closely, pitching has been probably the weakest link in the New York Yankees setup over the last few years. In recent years, they have struggled to put together a quality bullpen, with many of their pitchers suffering from injuries. Furthermore, the Yankees have failed to add the market’s best pitchers, instead going for cheaper options. But this off-season looked different as they signed Carlos Rodon, a second star pitcher to use alongside Gerrit Cole. They also added quality relief pitcher Tommy Kahnle to the mix.
The Bronx Bombers looked good going into the 2023 season, with a much-improved bullpen. But most recently, the Yankees shared an update on one of their star pitchers, confirming that he is injured.

Its not surprising when you have a team of injury prone players, past their prime, never really played a full season healthy or guys who other teams didnt want for some reason. High Risk high reward yet too much.

Is Nestor going to be ready? When will Sevy get hurt? Rotation opening day is looking very bad. I recall Jom saying we need another pitcher in December
