It confirms the batting struggles that the team is having as they close in on an unwanted Oakland Athletics statistic. In a Tweet, they said,??Only the Oakland A?s have a worse team batting average than the Yankees?. They expressed disbelief, saying, ?You can?t make this up??.

But the offense has genuinely been underwhelming with Aaron Judge on the sidelines. His prolonged injury has led to the Yankees? batting lineup struggling against some of the worst bullpens. The team’s lackluster offense marred Rodon’s debut, leading to a vehement reaction from disappointed fans.
