Billionaire owner Steve Cohen has been utilizing his financial prowess to perfection. In a string of high-profile acquisitions, the Mets are reportedly aiming to sign up free-agent Carlos Correa. The news has come at a time when the Mets are adding one sharp string after another to their bow.

The rumored reports about the Mets’ interest in Carlos Correa have been making the rounds. Notably, Correa suddenly dropped out of his Minnesota Twins contract this year. The two-time All-Star player made his MLB debut with the Houston Astros in 2015. Making vital contributions to the Astros’ World Series victory in 2017, Correa created a reputation as a marquee player.

Carlos Correa has chosen his MLB future!

According to the latest confirmed reports, Correa has agreed on a $350 million 13-year term contract with the Giants. Thus finally putting the Mets’ inquiry to rest. Moreover, now he also won’t have to shift to fielding at third base. Speaking about his decision to the New York Post, Correa said, “So if you really want something, you just go get it.”
