Will Beltran be able to lead the Mets to the championship?
Having made his debut in 1998 for the Kansas City Royals, Beltran is a Puerto Rican former MLB player. The ex-slugger played for seven different teams throughout his career of two decades. He became an all-star player for nine teams while winning his first and only World Series Ring in his last year and second stint with the Houston Astros in 2017.

Since then, he has worked as a special advisor to the Yankees’ General Manager, Brian Cashman, applied to be the Yanks’ manager, and also got selected as the Mets’ manager. But before he could manage a game, he and the Mets parted ways. This led him to the YES Network as a game analyst in January 2022. And given his experience with two top teams in the league, Beltran can play a crucial role in the Buck Showalter-led Mets.
