During an interview with Forbes in 2017, the former athlete said, “I represent a great group of people, and I’m just happy that I can pave the way for millions.”
The ex-slugger did not reach this point in his life without making the mistakes he made. But instead of those mistakes slowing him, he owned them, learned from them, and eventually worked to prevent others from making the same mistakes.
