Puppy in Pinstripes Takes the Internet By Storm

Yankees merch and the iconic pinstripes are a must for every fan but some take things up a notch. In addition to sporting the gear themselves, they also adorn their pets with it. A couple decided to do the same for their puppy recently and shared it in an adorable video. As cute animal videos tend to do, it went viral instantly.

The clip was originally posted on TikTok when the Yankees’ news channel, YES Network, decided to post it on X. “How cute is this pinstriped puppy 😍” reads the caption. The video shows a young guy holding a tiny fur baby in his lap as a woman records them. “Are you ready? Are you ready? Come on, let’s go show mom,” he says to the puppy.

He slowly tries to pick up what seems to be a baby Golden Retriever in an endearing tiny Yankees shirt. The man adjusts his pinstripes as he stands and brings it nearer to the camera with a huge smile on his face. “Crying,” says the woman behind the camera. “You guys match.” The two coo over the dog as they return to what is possibly a Yankees game on in the background.

A dog that recently captured fans’ hearts was Gus Judge, the Yankee captain’s cute little dachshund. Aaron Judge brought him to practice back in May, winning over the internet’s hearts. While there was still hope for the season back then, this puppy moment has turned some fans bitter.

Some shared their own puppies in pinstripes while others claimed they refused to be distracted from the Bronx team’s performance.

Some just found it charming.

All jokes aside though, the Yankees bullpen does need some help this year. As the last weeks of the season progress, some major changes are required if the team wants to make the Wild Card.
