The time left for the Most Valuable Player’s decision is getting lesser with every second that passes. Be it analysts or fans, everybody is in on the debate of who is going to become the MVP of 2022. The top two contenders in the MVP race are Los Angeles Angels’ Shohei Ohtani and New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge.

Recently, former baseball players CC Sabathia, Sean Casey, Jake Peavy, and sportscaster Stephen Nelson joined in on the debate. Everybody has their own opinions, but Sabathia’s is quite interesting.

Who does Sabathia thinks will become MVP? Shohei Ohtani or Aaron Judge?

The 2009 world series champion with the New York Yankees, CC Sabathia, holds great importance in the game. As a former Yankee and the kind of player he was, his opinion in the game matters.

He considers Aaron ‘All Rise’ Judge as his little brother. But when asked who he thinks will become MVP, he said, “You guys all know who I think MVP is. He (Shohei) is the MVP. Every year that he is healthy, he continues to get better as a pitcher. You got to give him the MVP. “

He is watching Judge and his game pretty closely, and he knows how great of a player he is and the things he will be achieving. He even said that if it wasn’t for Judge, the Yankees would not have even made it to the playoffs.

“But this guy(Shohei) is literally the best player that we have ever seen,” Sabathia said

Sabathia has clearly made up his mind about this year’s MVP. The fans are also divided into teams on who they think will win.

Who do the fans think will be MVP – Judge or Ohtani?

Talkin’ Yanks is obviously on Judge’s side.

Another fan did not think there is a need for a discussion as he already knows who the winner is.

Mario Ortiz thinks Sabathia is being disrespectful to Judge

Whereas Jonn thinks debate on this topic is a laughable thing, and according to him, the winner is clear. And it is none other than thw two way star Shohei Ohtani.

Contradictory to what Sabathia thinks, fans seem to be more inclined towards the New York Yankees star player, Aaron Judge.
