Aaron Judge Was Left in Awe While Meeting Buster Posey

Judge grew up idolizing the Giants and their superstar players. He would support the team through thick and thin while dreaming of an MLB career. In 2017, he had the chance to meet Buster Posey, a San Francisco legend who helped the team win 3 World Series titles. In his book, “Aaron Judge: The Incredible Story of the New York Yankees’ Home Run-Hitting Phenom”, Dave Fischer shares the Yankees star’s narration of the encounter.
According to page 108 of the book, Judge said, “I was coming out of the bathroom, and he was walking in the clubhouse and I just stopped and said, ‘Buster, huge fan man.’ I have fun watching what he’s doing, the way he plays on the field and how he acts off the field. He’s a true definition of a professional.” Furthermore, Posey replied saying, “You’ve been fun to watch. Keep it going and congrats.”
Judge Snubbed the Giants in Free Agency to Stay With the Yankees

Aaron Judge was a free agent this off-season. Yankees fans were very scared that he would change his team and sign for his childhood team, the Giants. But Judge snubbed the San Francisco-based franchise in favor of his Yankees. Furthermore, by signing a 9-year $360 million deal, he will probably spend the rest of his career in the Bronx. This was a momentous occasion that resulted in him being named the captain as well.
This was a massive moment for Judge as he was able to interact with an idol of his. Furthermore, he was also recognized by Posey. Despite all of this and his fandom for the Giants, Judge snubbed them in favor of the Yankees.
