New York Yankees’ first road game did not go as planned. The Bronx Bombers were up against the Baltimore Orioles in a nail-biting game on April 7th. All eyes were trained on the scoreboard like a tennis game as it reflected both teams gaining a lead one by one. The O’s stunning display left a sellout crowd of 45,017 screaming for their team; it was the most numbers Baltimore had seen since Opening Day of 2018.

Ramon Urias was one of the top stars of the game as he hit a tie-breaking double and then went on to score on a wild pitch. The Orioles’ home opener was thrilling to watch, and the audience certainly cheered for their team. But the Yankees went back with a disappointing 7-6 loss after a good start to the season. It was a harsh reminder of last year’s match-up between these teams. And given the Yanks have a long season ahead, fans have something to say after a defeat at Camden Yards.

New York Yankees fans express disappointment over their loss to the Baltimore Orioles

No one likes watching their team lose, but unfortunately, winning and losing are both part of baseball games. But just because fans have accepted it doesn’t mean they’re not disappointed. When Talkin’ Yankees announced the news on Twitter, Bronx fans were less than happy.

One fan was ready to look to the future.

Some fans’ wrath was directed at manager Aaron Boone for his poor tactics against the Orioles.

One Twitter user thought it could have been avoided if not for Clarke Schmidt. In fact, a lot of fans expressed displeasure at what they call the Schmidt experiment.
