Major League Baseball’s World Series 2022 will be beginning in a couple of days. Finalists are already announced, and preparations are going on with full power. The two teams from the American and National League that are going to be playing the World Series games are Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies.?

The Phillies won game 5 of the NLCS to advance to the World Series by beating the Padres and leading the series by 4-1. Naturally, the Phillies are excited to be going to the World Series and enjoying their time.?

During the celebration of winning the NLCS and making it to the World Series, designated hitter Bryce Harper of the Phillies came forward to speak about his emotions over the achievement. The man not only talked about winning the NLCS but seemed pretty sure of him and his team taking the World Series Champions trophy home.?

What did Bryce Harper say about the Philadelphia Phillies winning the NLCS?

The Philadelphia Phillies got established around 150 years ago, and since then, the team has won only two World Series. One was in 1980, and the other, fourteen years ago, in 2008. They will be playing the World Series for the first time after 2009. And now, as the team won over the Padres, they will be playing against the Astros. And Harper is pretty confident that his team will be taking the trophy home for the third time.?

“We got 4 more. We’re going to bring this s— home,” said Harper while he talked about his team’s NLCS win and advancing to the World Series.

The confidence came as his team went from playing the Wild Card to World Series in less than a month, and the designated hitter also became NL MVP in 2022. It is a pretty high honor for any MLB player. If he thinks his team can go and win, maybe it’ll happen, or maybe won’t. But that’s for people to know as the World Series starts on October 29.
