Brian’s message was on similar lines to the fan’s thoughts. It also addressed their concerns about not making the right start, especially with a spring training miss.

Fans fail to acknowledge Cashman’s appeal
The Yankees are in a mess this year. And the fans have put the blame on the management, which has failed to perform its job, including Cashman.
