Team management plays a significant role in a team’s success. Since the manager Gabe Kapler joined the Giants as a manager in 2020, the team qualified for the postseason only once in 2021. It was their best season, with 107 wins in the regular season. Although this year also started well for the team, the situation took a turn in the midseason, with their elimination as the final consequence. After the playoff elimination was confirmed, the team’s executive, Farhan Zaidi, along with the ownership, made a bold decision to fire the team manager, Gabe Kapler, on Friday.

While the Giants made this bold move after they got eliminated from the postseason, the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox had already brought similar changes in-season. The former fired their Chief Baseball Officer, Chaim Bloom, the latter dismissed their senior vice president and general manager, Rick Hahn.

Will the New York Yankees fire Boone and Cashman?
Although the team is still reserved in nature to reveal any such firing as of present, the owner, Hal Steinbrenner, aims to find out where the billions he has spent on his team since 2009 has gone through an audit in October. The baseball faithful find the GM and manager of the team responsible for the downfall of the Yankees, keeping them from the World Series for 14 years. As per them, conducting a third-party audit is no less than a joke or other act of seeking attention.
