The iconic fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin is over ten weeks away, but the two shared an epic faceoff on a baseball ballpark. Yes! Canelo and Gennady turned up for the New York Yankees and threw the ceremonial pitch at the Yankee Stadium.

The New York Yankees have been the best team in the entire MLB this season. Their will to never give up against any opponent makes them a stronger team to compete. With Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo taking charge from the plate, the Yankees have been unstoppable in the ongoing MLB season.

Speaking about the ceremonial pitch, Canelo and Golovkin threw the first pitch against the Oakland Athletics and promoted their much-awaited fight in September. Notably, the two boxing champions will clash, for a third time, on September 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Canelo VS. GGG3 will take place in September, but the hype for their fight is at its peak. With an impeccable record of 57 wins, two draws, and two losses, Alvarez has the edge over GGG, who has won 41 games with one loss and one draw.

What is more interesting is that Golovkin’s one loss and one draw have come against Canelo. However, despite being rivals, the two pitched for the same team on Monday. Taking to Twitter, the Yankees shared a video. In the video, one can see the boxers throwing the ceremonial pitch in the Yankee Stadium.

Canelo and Golovkin even did their iconic stare challenge in the ballpark. Communicating about their upcoming fight, it is tough to predict who will win the match, given their impressive career record. However, Canelo will have the edge against GGG 3, because the Mexican has defeated Golovkin in one match.
