Alex Rodriguez, since the beginning of the 2022 postseason, has been making predictions. However, all his predictions, from the wild card series to the recently concluded Division Series, have incorrectly gone down the wrong drain.

And on all occasions, former Boston Red Sox World Champion baseman David Ortiz has made sure to let him know where he went wrong. It started with the wild-card round, where every prediction made by A-Rod, who’s deemed an analyst and expert, went wrong.
Papi roasts Alex Rodriguez; Again!
During the wildcard round, David Ortiz walked around the Fox Studio, pointing toward all the wrong predictions made by A-Rod and having a laugh. The same tradition continued after the Pinstripes recently qualified for the ALCS against the Houston Astros, where Papi made a malicious claim indicating the only way the Yanks can conquer the Astros.

Papi said, “The only way the Yankees can beat Houston is if you pick them. You have been wrong the whole time.”?However, the comment did not in any way deter A-Rod’s support for the Pinstripes. And he said, “Well, I’ve got my Pinstripes on.”?Following this, all the broadcasting members burst into laughter.
New York Yankees will take on Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series starting tomorrow. Notably, in 2017 and 2019, the Yanks took on the Astros in the Championship Series and lost in both instances. Can the Bronx Bombers break the hex this time around?
A-Rod and Big Papi’s relationship
While one would expect a Yankee and Red Sox player to perpetually fight like cats and dogs, that wasn’t the case for A-Rod and Big Papi. A-Rod reached the Yankees in 2004 and David Ortiz arrived at Fenway Park in 2003. Analogous to that, given their underlying franchise rivalry, the pair were fierce rivals on the field.

However, the minute they left the field, their rivalry subsided. To the extent that Ortiz would often travel to and from Fenway Park with the Yankee baseman, A-Rod.
