Fred Lynn has been enjoying his retirement from baseball but recently had a huge medical procedure done. The Red Sox legend announced that he was getting double partial knee replacement surgery last month via Twitter. He underwent the surgery recently and posted an update after his procedure. In a Tweet, he shared that the operation was successful and that he was feeling okay one day after it.

Fans have reacted to his news and have shared their support for the Red Sox legend. Some wished him luck and others a pain-free recovery. But most fans had something positive to say in the hope that Lynn would recover quickly.?

Luckily, Lynn is recovering well and seems healthy otherwise. One current Boston Red Sox star recently mourned the loss of a fan.
