After consecutively missing the postseason for nine seasons in a row, the Los Angeles Angels, spearheaded by Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, plan on coming back strong in 2023. As their final spring training game came to a successful end against the Dodgers, and Anaheim prepares for their opening series against the Athletics, they greeted a few special motivators from the wrestling ring in their clubhouse.

As WWE prepares to take over Los Angeles, decked in the Angels kit, 46-year-old Bobby Lashley, Japanese-born Iyo Sky, and 35-year-old Carmella arrived at the Angels clubhouse and met their superstars in Shohei Ohtani and Trout. Moreover, two-time WWE Champion, who recently beat 287lbs Brock Lesnar, hit the batting cage and stretched his arms out with a powerful display prior to WrestleMania 39.

The Angels re-uploaded a story on their Instagram handle of Lashley smashing the ball in the cage, which was initially posted by Carmella. Lashley, surprisingly or not, did not struggle in the cage at all and ended up displaying his prowess in the box. However, the one pitch that Lashley failed to connect, Carmella is heard ironically saying, “We didn’t see that.”

Following a day well spent with co-stars in Sky and Carmella, Bobby reached his Twitter with a special thank-you message for the Angels. His tweet said, “What a day! Thanks @Angels!!”
