With their unique antics, the Savannah Bananas have taken it upon themselves to reinvent baseball as the favorite pastime of America. In recent years, the popularity of the game has declined due to the longer games and innings and several other issues, such as PEDs. But a man named Jesse Cole from Georgia started something that could be the new era of baseball. 

Dressed up in soothing yellow jerseys, Savannah Bananas games are jam-packed mostly because of the entertainment they provide to their fans. In every game, the Bananas come up with something new, and it is what keeps their fans interested and in anticipation of what’s next. Bringing out their own rule, the Bananas are back at it once again by involving a fan to make an out in the game.

Rule number eight from the Savannah Bananas’ rule book states that if a fan catches a foul ball, it’s an out. And whichever fan does catch the ball gets the chance to be on the diamond meeting the players.

Most recently, the Banans’ Twitter handle posted a video of the same happening during a game. A young fan in the bleachers caught the foul ball, made an out, and was picked up by a player to be on the diamond. With it, they also said that a fan catching a foul ball resulting in an out once happened thrice in a game.

Needless to say, soon as they posted the video, baseball fans started pouring out their love for the team, unique antics, and keeping the game interesting.

Jesse Cole created the Bananas as a way of bringing baseball back to his hometown. He went all out with his money to invest in the team, and shortly, the team became a huge success among the fans. Every game of the Bananas has had a full audience in the last couple of years, and the latest game was no different either. But rule number 8 surely was!
