Oakland Athletics? relocation to Las Vegas has been in the process for months. Although the A’s owner, John Fisher, has gotten closer to his move, there are some details to be sorted out yet. The fans? protests seemed to have died down with the Las Vegas shift seeming inevitable. But in a new update, the reverse boycott has been revived.?

In the background, a process for 75 percent support is underway. Fisher was working to get enough support from the 30 MLB owners for the move to happen. Furthermore, he is also figuring out a temporary venue for the team to play while the Vegas stadium is under construction. But now protests have once again erupted.

Oakland Athletics Fans Revive the Reverse Boycott

The Athletics are currently battling their Bay Area rivals, the San Francisco Giants. This series at Oracle Park served as the grounds for the reverse boycott and ?sell? movement to revive. Fans gathered at the game wearing green and newly introduced black ?Sell? t-shirts and chanted ?Sell the team?. Thousands of voices could be heard urging John Fisher to sell the Athletics. KNBR shared a video of the fans chanting in unison on Twitter.?

In a Tweet, they said, ?SELL THE TEAM chants breaking out in the bleachers from the Unite The Bay joint rally?. Giants and Athletics fans seemingly rallied together to go against the move. This is a bit of a revival in fans? spirits as they put some energy back into the protest.?
