Ben Affleck Lauds Jennifer Lopez’s Tribute to Him With a Gesture Once Used by Her Ex-Fiance Alex Rodriguez

MLB icon Alex Rodriguez and his ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez, at one point, were one of the best couples in the entertainment world. Throughout their relationship, Alex was always all praises for Lopez. Together, they were on their way to becoming a billionaire power couple. But all of it changed with their infamous breakup back in April 2021. Shortly after their breaking up, Lopez reconnected with her ex-fiance, Ben Affleck. As she reconnected, Bennifer once again became one of the most popular couples in Hollywood.

During JLo’s relationship with Affleck in the early 2000s, she wrote a couple of songs about him. She had done so as a token of showing her love for him. Their relationship might be over, but the songs remained. And now, almost two years of being together, Affleck, in a recent podcast, lauded JLo’s tribute to him.

After Alex and Jen broke up, the former Yankee was asked to speak about his relationship with JLo and what he thought of her. Then, he said that he believes Lopez is the hardest worker, the most talented human being, and “the greatest live performer in the world that’s alive today.”

Now, when promotional events of Affleck’s directorial movie, Air, are going on in full swing, Ben appeared for an episode of SmartLess Podcast. There, he was asked to share his thoughts about Jennifer and the two songs Dear Ben and Dear Ben II she wrote about him. In a similar way to how A-Rod praised her a year ago, Ben said, “The songs that have been written about me have been written by the greatest performer in the history of the world, Jennifer Lopez.”

Lopez and A-Rod have long moved on in their lives. With JLo being married to Ben, Rodriguez is dating the Canadian fitness expert Jaclyn Cordeiro.
