Derek Jeter’s Eldest Daughter, Aged 5, Takes a Complete Detour From Her Father’s Footsteps With a Newfound Obsession

MLB legend Derek Jeter rose to excellence in baseball because of his unwavering perfectionism both on and off the field. Jeter’s pursuit of perfection has come off of his high standards set for himself and his always striving to be the best. Although a couple of years after retiring, his passion changed to becoming the best husband and father to his wife and daughters, little did he know that his commitment and protection toward his daughters would one day result in them choosing a passion entirely different from their father.

Recently, in an interview with E News, Derek revealed that the elder one of his daughters seems to have already found her passion. For those wondering, it’s not baseball, and it’s not any sport, either. The Hall of Famer’s eldest daughter, Bella Raine Jeter, at age 5, does not want to do what her father did. However, Captain Clutch is still proud of her for being able to find her passion. 

What is Derek Jeter’s eldest daughter obsessed with?

Being a former athlete for over two decades, Derek Jeter knows the importance of sports in a person’s life. Hence, the five times world series winner wants his girls to be involved in sports. It is for them to learn work ethic, teamwork, setting goals, and being ready for failure. Previously, his girls, especially Bella, have taken tennis lessons, and now seemingly has moved on from that.

The mighty former athlete, Derek Jeter’s oldest daughter at the age of five, has found “clicking pictures” the most entrancing thing. According to Jeter, “My oldest loves taking pictures. I just want them to find the thing that they’re passionate about and then help them achieve whatever goals they may have.”

It’s not exactly what Jeter might have wanted for her. But it is also what he wanted for her. And that is to find her own passion. And she, as per the Hall of Famer, is loving it.

In many of the interviews that Captain Clutch has given since his seven-part documentary got aired, he has talked about getting his nails painted. In one of those instances, he has also posted a picture of two of his girls taking their time making their dad’s hands look beautiful, with the youngest being in her own world.

 Aside from this, as per his daughters’ request, he also wears “hello kitty” necklaces. Which he also once shared with his fans on Instagram.
