Even though A-Rod and Captain Clutch were once great friends, their relationship didn’t survive for long. In addition to comments about Jeter’s captaincy, Daily News reported Rodriguez making moves on Hannah Davis. Back in 2015, when Jeter and Davis had not been engaged yet, she and Rodriguez ran into each other.

At the 13th annual BTIG Commissions for Charity day, the two posed for a photo together when they arrived at the same time at the event. They were also joined by the event’s co-founder, Steven Starker, and Jeter was not present.

While Davis was supporting Czech model Petra Nemcova’s Happy Heart’s Fund, the former Yankee was there for the Boys and Girls Club of America. But the two didn’t interact much other than this photo opportunity.

The Jeters once misled people to believe a heartbreaking thing

Owing to the former Yankee’s private nature, fans began speculating when news about his personal life began to lessen. At a point in time, when the Jeters stopped making public appearances, some tabloids began to assume they had split up. Page Six reported a confirmed break-up between the two, although no official news had been made yet.

“Derek and Hannah broke up a few months ago. She wasn’t at his Celebrity Golf Classic last month. He is in Tampa and is completely focused on being fit and ready for the upcoming baseball season,” the article said.
