Aaron Judge is having his dream season. Despite being out for most of the season because of his toe injury, The Yankees star has been shining since he returned. He is still giving his best to his team, despite all the playoff hopes gone. The second game against the Toronto Blue Jays created a moment where Judge shocked the entire audience, including his teammates in the dugout.
The New York Yankees have already grabbed the ongoing 3-game series against The Toronto Blue Jays after clinching two straight wins. If their captain had not suffered an injury, the Yankees might have been able to avoid this dreadful season. Considering Judge’s current performances, fans are speculating on this probability. Days after reaching his home run milestone to mark his place with Alex Rodriguez and others, the Bronx Bombers’ captain again proved his worth. He hit two home runs against The Blue Jays on Sunday.
It’s hard to find an opposite-field home run that finds the seats as fast as this one.

While homers are speedy runs, Judge’s was thunderous. Aaron Judge crushed his 36th home run of the season, sending the ball flying 395 feet with an exit velocity of 112 MPH and a launch angle of 22°. The pitch responsible for this powerful hit was a 94mph sinker delivered by the Blue Jays’ José Berríos.
While that’s a moment of celebration, two other players’ expressions stole the show. Gerrit Cole seemed to scream “Yeah!” at their captain’s powered-up hitting. Whereas Rortvedt’s seemed completely shocked as if he couldn’t believe his eyes.

With these two homers, not only did Judge reached 37 home runs in his possession this season, but also made things difficult for The Blue Jays as their playoff entry depends on their three more wins. Gerrit Cole also performed astounding, pitching a two-hitter to wrap the Blue Jays 6-0.
The awestruck and amused fans forgot the playoff-missed frustration and showered their praises on the captain.
Fans Applauded The Yankees Captain
The thunderous home runs of The Yankees captain has set a mark that he hasn’t lost his sportsmanship even after their season has approached an end. Though these performances won’t take them to the postseason, he is still trying to give his best every time.
